In 2018, Rozie DeLoach started the Omo podcast with fellow luthiers Chris Jacoby, Jerry Lynn, and Jason Peoples. They cover the lives of violin makers, their best parts and worst.
Omo was named after Omobono Stradivari, the least liked son of his famous father, who was remember in Antonio’s will as a screw up. Omo’s mission is to cast an inclusive net in this demanding industry - finding room enough for us all.
Now in it’s 6th year, Omo enjoys and international audience and interviews a wide range of humans in the field of lutherie, including renowned makers in violin and bow making, experts in identification, historians, appraisers, shop owners, and restorers.
