Resources for beginners
Here is a list of resources to answer any questions that you may have about your instrument.
How can I tell which size instrument i need?
When a young player picks up a violin, viola, or a cello for the first time, it's critical for the instrument size to match the player so that learning proper technique and position is possible. The best way to make sure that you have the correct instrument size is to get measured by your orchestra or private lessons teacher. However, if you don’t have access to a teacher, there are different ways you can measure yourself to determine the correct size. If you still have trouble choosing an instrument size, visit our shop and we’ll measure you for free!
