We are a family of mariachi instruments (violins, trumpets, guitar, vihuela, guitarron), who travel across the Americas performing our traditional songs and dances. My birthplace is the Northern Rio Grande region of Mexico. The mariachi is a symbol of Mexican identity that cultivated around the rich heritage of our people. We often sing about love, politics, death, heroes, and the plight of the Mexican people. Most importantly, we strive to unite our people with what we do and demonstrate to the international community the importance of Hispanic culture.
